When supported WoodsPortal access properties change on a HubSpot contact, HubSpot sends the update to WoodsPortal so portal access can change without waiting for a long synchronization cycle.
Update contact access
- Open the correct HubSpot contact.
- Update the WoodsPortal Access property for the intended portal.
- Update WoodsPortal Primary Company Access only when that model is required.
- Save the contact.
- Allow the webhook-driven update to reach WoodsPortal.
- Test the contact’s portal selection or access with a safe user.
Important
- The webhook accelerates access updates but does not replace the invitation, role assignment, or other WoodsPortal permissions.
- Removing a portal access value can remove that portal from the user’s available context.
- Effective access still depends on the signed-in contact, active portal, role, object configuration, and permissions.
Troubleshooting
- If the change is not reflected, confirm the exact contact property value and connected hub.
- Check WoodsPortal synchronization, jobs, or notifications before repeatedly editing the contact.
- If the portal appears but records do not, review role, object, association, and record-scope controls.
